This was in 1783 and much of the original structure, carefully renovated and restored, is still intact. The Castello was a Baronial-hunting lodge. It has a Medieval reception hall, ideal for wedding receptions and other formal dinners. There is also a Chapel, an original wine cellar and various seventeenth century bedrooms.
